The Coral Coast is the name given to the southern coastline of Viti Levu, which became a popular tourist retreat before the Mamanuca Islands were made accessible.

A beautiful stretch of beach, it offers all sorts of accommodation from international-style hotels to simple Fijian style bures.

About 190 kilometres on the Queen's Highway between Nadi and Suva, the Coral Coast offers tours to other islands and to sights on the mainland, as well as coral viewing, hiking and shopping.

Crusoes Retreat

Located approximately two hours south of Nadi, Crusoes Retreat is set on 10 acres of tropical landscaped gardens, right on the beach. The relaxing atmosphere of Crusoes swimming pool area is only meters away from the crystal clear waters of the Pacific Ocean. The resort is located next to a traditional Fijian village, offering you a unique cultural experience.

Accommodation:
There are 11 Seaside and 17 Seaview bures all with private facilities. Each bure features queen size bed, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom, In room safe, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, and indoor sitting area opening out onto your own individual patio.

The Seaside bures are all within meters of water while the Seaview bures have been built to blend into the natural hillside.

Amenities:
Crusoes Retreat has it’s own restaurant and licensed bar. The local "chef" will keep you well fed with a variety of traditional Fijian and contemporary cuisine. There is a large swimming pool, gift shop and on-site dive operation. Shopping trips, waterfall tours, laundry services and baby-sitting can be arranged on request.

Activities:
The resort offers a variety of activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling, reef walking, sea kayaks, catamarans and glass bottom boat tours. Horse riding, escorted nature walks, tennis, volleyball and children’s jungle gym are also available. Day trips and excursion can be arranged or you may just choose to laze by the beach or the pool and enjoy a cocktail.

Diving:
"Dive Crusoes", the resident dive operation, is situated just a short walk from your room. There are many great dive sites to explore within 5-15 minutes and non-diving partners are welcome on the dive boat to share in the excitement. All dive equipment is regularly maintained to the highest possible standard, while the experienced staff is more than happy to share their knowledge of the local dives sites. Beqa Lagoon dive trips can also be arranged on request.
