  Vanuatu Travel Tips

Aore Island is a working coconut plantation, located 10 minutes by regular boat service from Santo and the township of Luganville. The secluded retreat is set on a white sandy beach, surrounded by tropical island flora.

A relaxing retreat, where gentle waves lap the shore in front of your private accommodation.

The famous World War II dive wreck of the luxury liner turned troop carrier, "SS President Coolidge" and "Million Dollar Point" are a 20 minute boat trip from the resort.

Explore the coastline in a kayak or the island on a mountain bike.

Accommodation & Amenities

Accommodation: 16 spacious, individual, beachfront or garden view fares (bungalows). The fan-cooled fares have private bathroom facilities, tea and coffee making, refrigerator and a balcony.

Amenities: The open-air restaurant is right on the beach and offers world-class meals, panoramic views and romantic ambience. The resort has a resident dive operator and swimming pool.

Activities: Diving, snorkelling, kayaking, sport and game fishing trips. Tours of the working plantation, littered with relics from WWII and picnic lunches to Turtle Island can be arranged.
