One of the most remarkable islands in the Pacific Ocean. Tanna boasts an active volcano, centuries old lifestyle, mysterious cargo cults and beautiful wild horses. The Tannese people live a traditional lifestyle and practice the ancient customs of their ancestors.

Just one hour by plane South of Port Vila, this untouched island of thick tropical jungle is home to Yasur, the world's most accessible volcano.

Yapilami Falls, located deep in a rain forest, a most spectacular cascade of water, falling several hundred feet into a large pool at it's base. Port Resolution, named after Captain Cook's ship "Resolution" which landed there in 1774. Visit the hot springs. Other points of interest on Tanna include spectacular white and exotic black sand beaches, flying fox caves, coastal blowholes and a coffee plantation.

The resort is nestled amongst 6 acres of lush vegetation with meandering paths leading to a white sand beach, rock caves and coral formations.


 

 

Accommodation: 12 private beachfront bungalows decorated in traditional Melanesian style. All bungalows have en-suite bathroom with hot water shower, queen size beds, tiled floor, ceiling fan, tea and coffee making facilities, screened windows, mosquito nets, and spectacular ocean views.

Amenities: The restaurant, bar and guest lounge area with out door verandah, has panoramic ocean views. The a la carte menu is updated daily using fresh seafood free-range poultry and meat cuts with organically grown vegetables and fruits. Activities: Snorkelling in safe waters amongst the prolific fish life, enhanced by regular visits from the local turtle and dolphin population, canoeing, tennis, volleyball, pitch n putt golf. A number of 4WD safaris and adventure tours operate daily. The highlight being a safari to the crater of Yasur Volcano, where you come face to face with the glowing vents of lava and magma spurting into the night’s sky.

Other tours include a custom village safari: a rainforest, waterfall and black sand beach tour: the wild horses excursion and deep sea fishing.
